The fingerprint reader works with fprintd after a one-time firmware update through LVFS and can drop after suspend until fprintd is restarted. Suspend is s2idle and standby drain depends on a current BIOS, so update the firmware to keep overnight loss low. RAM is slotted DDR4 SO-DIMM and storage is a standard M.2 NVMe, so this is fully repairable and upgradeable.

Ubuntu 22.04 or newer with a recent HWE kernel is the baseline. Same fingerprint-after-suspend quirk and the same standby-drain-on-old-BIOS note as Fedora, so keep the BIOS current.
