7040 series, with newer releases also fine. All-AMD: Ryzen 7 7840HS plus the optional Radeon RX 7700S graphics module run on the open Mesa and AMDGPU stack with a recent kernel and AMDGPU firmware. MediaTek MT7922 WiFi and Bluetooth work. The one caveat is the fingerprint reader, which can misbehave unless on the latest firmware.

Fedora 39 is a Framework-recommended distribution for the Ryzen 7040 series and ships a new enough Mesa and kernel for the RX 7700S module out of the box. Same fingerprint firmware caveat as on Ubuntu.
